Here i am, watching the CNN democratic debate, and feeling a little sick to my stomach. I am definately not complaining about our government, America has it alot better than a whole lot of other countries out there government wise. but.... WHY must senators and politicians all act SOOO fake when they know the cameras are watching. You never know how half of them really feel about issues when half of the time some of them just stand behind whatever issue is popular at the time. did you know that you have to be at least a millionaire to run for president? Just something to ponder. Sorry for ranting, but this little blog thing that no one reads is where I rant. if you do not like ranting, go read something else. -

Me here, and something has made me quite ticked. (this is the part where i rant, so just be forewarned) I was on Msn.com, and I happened upon a article about how girl's Halloween costumes (we're talking ages 6-14) are becoming increasingly...well... indecent. I got on a halloween costume website and was looking around for ideas, and noticed something. i checked about five other websites and sat back and stewed.


This is what i noticed: on every website they had a gender specific boy's doctor costume, but not one for a girl, only nurse costumes. They had boy policeman costumes and boy fireman costumes and army costumes, but all the girls versions of them were short-skirted, trashy, micro-minis with fishnets and high-heel boots. It was really and truly infuriating. Even little red riding hood costumes were outrageously short, with a corset and low-cut top. Chew on that irritating problem.

Just thought I'd throw that out there and see if it annoyed anyone else as much as it did me. feel free to comment- I'm off to go be mad.

I'm writing this is hopes that readers (if there are any)(which hopefully there will be!) will respond with views. I'm doing a group project at school where every group of four gets a global issue. Our group's project topic was gay and lesbian rights. it would help a whole whole lot if you guys left comments about your opinions on the sibject, personal experiences, etc.

If you people could do that, I would be extremely grateful. For the project we have to make a powerpoint, commercial and website. I'll post up the HTML for it when we post it up!
